On Wednesday April 4, the United States commemorated the 50th anniversary of the assassination of Martin Luther King, who is a symbol of anti racial discrimination on black people. Over the last 50 years has the situation of racial discrimination in the United States been improved? Bernice King, Martin Luther King's youngest daughter, said today that racial discrimination has become widespread in social and public institutions. To clear it, only the youth movement is so broad that it can change the perpetual mindset.
Mrs. Bernice King, daughter of Martin Luther King:
"My father did not have the chance to lead the movement to help the poor. He just started preparing for the idea .I am convinced that if he does not kill her, he can take action to help people today.
Today, the problem of poverty remains a problem that the government can not solve. Just look around us and look at the statistical figures, we will know that everyday life's conditions are worse than the times my dad lives.
It is time now that we all have to build a fair, equitable world for all, especially in terms of economics. Another issue is the colorful racist prejudice, which is now a social habit, whether in daily life or in state institutions.
All parts of the American people's lives, black people, continue to be discriminated against because they have less social and economic benefits than whites. They are denying that white and black people can get equal benefits.
Thus, the movement "Black Lives Matter" has begun. This movement is so important because it is making the whole nation feel that the life of black people is not cheap, nor is it worth more than the lifespan of the white people, all human lives are equal.
I thank God that inspires young people to be involved in this movement because, from a historical perspective, there is only a youth movement that can help promote a society to change and walk. I believe that today we are all looking forward to some positive changes. "
