South Korea: Former female president has been convicted for 24 years

South Korean President Park Geun-hye has been sentenced to 24 years in prison on Friday, involving more than three cases, leading to the first woman to be the Republican leader in the worst-case scenario.

According to Channel News Asia, Pacquiao was sentenced under three charges: receiving bribery, kidnapping and abuse of state power. At the same time, the court ordered her to pay US $ 17 million.
Judge Kim Se-Yoon said that besides Mrs. Park, her friend Choi Soon-sil was also punished severely.
In the case, the prosecutor sought her sentence up to 30 years.
